I recently purchased a “Hohner Marnie Band Special 20″ also says 560/20 on case. . Anyway I am curious if this is what I need for some serious blues. It is in the key of C and it is a straight harp, is this the right harmonica for blues music. After speaking to others on the web, I found the answer. Yes. The Special 20 is my preference (playing 25 plus years) A C harp is a good start (straight harp is a style of playing, not a type of harmonica) since many lessons are based on a harp in C. I recommend a D as your next harp-its a useful key for blues played cross harp, and its easy to learn bending notes on.
