So I have a 24 hole Harmonica in the key of C. I was wondering how do you read the sheet music that is intended for 10 hole harmonicas,to play on a 24 hole harmonica. I was happy to learn… 24 means you have more than one octave, its a soloing harmonica, you can read 10 hole, Skip and forget about the first 4 holes, the next ten holes are your Major scale to the leading tone, the next set of holes are the same. you have 3 Cs to play on your harmonica the 4 hole, 11 and 18 so 4- 11 is one octave, ignor the rest of the holes and say my harmonica is only 1-11 (or ten if you want to be technical) so to wrap it up, every 7 holes, is a scale. You have 3 octaves to play a song in.
